Oliver Plaskett wrapped up the three-day Midland Invitational on Sunday.

Friday saw Adkisson fall to Wichita State senior Jocelyn DeVillars (6-2, 6-1) in the round of 64 not long before Plaskett dropped a tough match to Texas sophomore Rodrigo Banzer (6-2, 6-0).

Saturday saw the beginning of doubles play, where the Arizona duo lost to Rice's Eric Rutledge and Jake Hansen (8-1) in the round of 32. Later that day, Adkisson was able to create some momentum in singles competition by besting Wichita State senior Vitor Mendes, but would fall to Auburn's Michael Durham (6-0, 6-4) shortly thereafter.

Adkisson was the only Wildcat to play on Sunday and he dropped a close match to Utah State sophomore Jonas Maier (3-6, 7-6(5), 10-4).

Adkisson and Plaskett will join the rest of the team in Tucson and prepare for the upcoming Wildcat Invitational, which will take place from Friday, Sep. 23 to Sunday, Sep. 25 at the Loews Ventana Canyon Country Club. More information, including complete draws and schedules will be released prior to match day.
