WEEKLY NOTES
WILDCATS BEGIN NOVEMBER IN LOS ANGELES
Arizona volleyball (9-12, 3-9 Pac-12) will head to Los Angeles to face a pair of top-20 teams this weekend as the calendar turns to the final month of the regular season. Arizona, fresh off a split last weekend vs. California and Stanford at home, will face 18th-ranked UCLA on Friday (6 p.m.) and 17th-ranked USC on Sunday (12 p.m.). Arizona is coming off a split last week; Arizona swept Cal before being swept by No. 2 Stanford in McKale Center. This week, the Wildcats will try for revenge against UCLA, which swept them in McKale earlier this season, while UA will look to make it four straight vs. the Trojans after the Cats' sweep earlier this year. Arizona's match vs. USC will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
SERIES HISTORY
- UCLA owns a 56-26 edge in the all-time series with Arizona. The Bruins' victory in Tucson earlier this year ended a three-match winnings streak for Arizona in the series. UCLA swept the Cats in McKale on Oct. 4 (25-15, 25-17, 25-20); Reily Buechler, daughter of former Wildcat basketball star Jud Buechler, had 15 kills to lead all players in the match. A full recap of the match can be found on page 4.
- USC leads the all-time series 58-21, but the Wildcats have won three straight vs. the Trojans, including a sweep in Tucson on Oct. 6 (25-23, 25-17, 26-24). Arizona will look to make it four straight overall and two straight in the Galen Center, where UA won for the first time in the building's history last year. A full recap of this season's sweep can be found on page 4.

- Arizona head coach Dave Rubio is in his 26th season with the Wildcats. The conference's active leader in wins a Pac-12 coach, Rubio is 488-303 at UA.
