FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Women's swimming and diving rounded out the first day of the Pac-12 Championships tied for fourth place with a total score of 102. Stanford leads with 128 followed by California (112) and USC (108). UCLA also has a team score of 102. The Cats finished in the top five for both relays on the first night.
The A relay team of
Taylor Garcia,
Kennedy Lohman,
Annie Ochitwa and
Katrina Konopka finished fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:35.47, three-tenths of a second out of third. The group previously broke the Arizona school record in the event this season with 1:34.63, the highest seed time of the Championships.
In the 800 free relay, the team of
Hannah Cox,
Cameron McHugh,
Emma McCarthy and
Kirsten Jacobsen took fifth with a time of 7:05.30. Both relay teams had times under the NCAA 'A' standard.
