TUCSON, Ariz. – After last week's match was rescheduled due to rain, the Wildcats (6-1) welcome in two teams for a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. New Mexico and Cincinnati will face Arizona at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. MST, respectively.
"We're looking forward to getting back on the courts," said head coach
Vicky Maes. "It was nice having the unexpected weekend off last week, but we all love to compete so we are itching to play. These are important matches that can give us some momentum going into the most important part of our regular season."
Previously
Arizona had last weekend off after the match against Rice was rescheduled for March 24. A week prior to that, the Wildcats defeated San Diego 5-2 before falling to UC Santa Barbara 4-3.
The Opposition
New Mexico (1-6) and Cincinnati (6-3) faced off in Tucson on Friday, with the Bearcats earning a 5-2 victory.
Admission to the match is free of charge. LaNelle Robson Tennis Center is located just east of Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium on 2nd street and Campbell Ave.
