Cats to Begin Play at NCAA Regionals

The University of Arizona women's will head to Athens, Georgia to compete in the NCAA Regionals on Monday. The Cats will tee off Monday morning starting at 8:27 a.m. EST. The tournament is a 54-hole stroke play format composing of three 18-hole rounds.
Competing for the Wildcats will be sophomore Haley Moore, junior Krystal Quihuis, senior Wanasa Zhou, senior Jessica Vasilic, and sophomore Gigi Stoll.
UA is the 4th seed in the regional and is competing alongside 17 other teams including top seeds Alabama, Georgia, and Northwestern. The Cats are the lone Pac-12 school in the regional. The six teams with the lowest scores after three rounds of play will advance to the NCAA Championships at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
In last years NCAA Regional at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas the Wildcats finished in second place shooting even par for the tournament. Quihuis tied for eight place at one-under-par, and Stoll finished tied for 19th.
