TUCSON, Ariz. – The
Kevin Sumlin era has kicked off and now fans can join in the excitement as 2018 season tickets are now available. That means renewals for season tickets and Wildcat Club membership (including men's basketball priority seating) are now available, as are new season ticket sales to the general public.
The 2018 season is shaping up to be a can't-miss opportunity at Arizona Stadium with seven home games, including the opener against BYU (Sept. 1), and conference showdowns against the likes of USC (Sept. 29), Oregon (Oct. 27) and the Territorial Cup against Arizona State (Nov. 24).
Breakout star quarterback
Khalil Tate is expected to lead an experienced team that returns the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year on offense (
J.J. Taylor) and defense (
Colin Schooler). Schooler was one of three Wildcats defenders to be named a freshman All-American, including
Tony Fields II and
Kylan Wilborn. All totaled, Arizona returns seven offensive starters from a unit that led the Pac-12 in scoring and total offense, while the young defense has nine returnees from a squad that was one of the national leaders in forcing turnovers.
Director of Athletics
Dave Heeke and his staff are committed to improving the football gameday experience and have solicited fan feedback through the use of surveys, email, social media and face-to-face interactions with fans.
One of the most discussed items with fans are ticket prices and there's good news: catching the Wildcats at Arizona Stadium will be easier and more affordable in 2018. Ticket prices are not increasing in 2018 despite the schedule having one more home game (seven) than last season. In fact, prices have been lowered for three different price levels across 17 sections inside Arizona Stadium.
The reduced prices are available to all fans seeking to cheer on the Wildcats. Entry level season ticket prices have been reduced from $99 to $70, which over seven contests is only $10 per game. Youth (ages 3-12) season ticket prices have been reduced from $50 to $35 (only $5 per game), while tickets in the economy level (EC) have been cut from $150 to $100. Tickets in the premium seating areas (skybox, loge, and club) will have an additional $30 fee per ticket to cover the buffet, snacks and beverage for the seventh home game.
For returning season ticket holders, renewals are due by May 1. However, there are several incentives to renew your tickets by Feb. 28, including waiving the $10 order fee and a 10% off coupon for BearDownShop.com.
In March, the 30 Prices in 30 Days sweepstakes will return for football season ticket holders and Wildcat Club members. Each day throughout the month of March, winners will be randomly selected from a pool of season ticket holders and Wildcat Club members who have renewed their tickets and/or donations for 2018-19.
Both current season ticket holders that renew and new season ticket holders will be able to sign up for a payment plan to divide their payments into four equal installments. Everyone who has purchased season tickets by May 1 will receive a free season ticket holder gift.
Season tickets can be purchased at any time online (
www.arizonawildcats.com/FB) or in-person at the McKale Ticket Office and over the phone at 520-621-CATS during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. MST).
