How old were you when you started gymnastics?Â
I was three years old when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is floor because it gives me the chance to show off my personality. Floor is so much fun to compete because when you see your teammates on the side doing parts of your routine with you and cheering you on, it's a real confidence booster. I love the excitement and energy that takes place during a floor routine, it's an adrenaline rush.

Favorite motivational quote?
"Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing." – Shane Patton
What is fun and special about Arizona gymnastics?Â
I love the atmosphere and environment when competing in McKale. The energy from the crowd and my team always makes for a fun night.
What is your dream job after college?Â
My dream job is to become a Physician's Assistant.
What motivates you?
My family motivates me. Knowing that I have their full love and support as I am taking part in this journey makes me want to try harder and push myself more at practice and in the classroom. Making them proud is a very rewarding feeling because all of the hard work I have done over the years has paid off. I want to set an example for my younger brother and cousins and be the best role model I can be for them.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
A piece of advice that I have for the underclassmen is to take advantage of every opportunity you can and enjoy the little things. The help we're given and the chances we have only last for so long. We have to make the best of every situation to maximize our experience here at the U of A.
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
I have a few hobbies outside of gymnastics such as doing puzzles, fishing, arts and crafts, and watching The Office on Netflix.
Â
What are you looking forward to most about this season?Â
This season I am most looking forward to being a main contributor and weekly competitor on vault, bars, and floor for my team.
What is your favorite GymCat memory thus far?
My favorite GymCat memory would have to be when John cancelled a Saturday morning practice and took the team to La Paloma for brunch. It was such a surprise and showed that all of our efforts in the preseason didn't go unnoticed by the coaches and they were realizing how hard the team was working.
