Arizona men's and women's swimming and diving are traveling up north to take on in-state rival Arizona State. This meet will close out regular season play for head coach
Augie Busch's first season.
Texas Recap
Arizona notched eight wins as the Cats fell short against Texas. Senior
Nick Thorne won the 400 IM in his last home meet of his collegiate career. Sophomore
Hannah Cox contributed two victories in the 500 and 1,000 free.
Eyeing the Competition
Arizona State men are 3-4 on the season, and 3-2 at home. Most recently, they upset Texas 162-138 last week.
The Sun Devil women are 4-4 this season, and are also 3-2 at home. They are on a three-meet losing streak, however (California, Stanford, Texas).
History Verse ASU
The Wildcat men are 3-1-1 against Arizona State over the past five seasons. Last season, the men tied 147-147 on Arizona's senior day.
The Arizona women have beaten ASU each of the last five meetings. Most recently, the women defeated the Sun Devils 180-118.
