TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona women's basketball program released its non-conference schedule on Thursday, with year three of the
Adia Barnes era beginning on Oct. 29 with an exhibition game against Eastern New Mexico. The regular season will kick off on Nov. 9 against Idaho State at McKale Center.
Prior to opening up the regular season, the Wildcats will take on Western New Mexico in a second exhibition game on Nov. 5. After the season opener, Arizona will face Loyola Marymount in a rematch from last season on Nov. 13 before heading to Oahu, Hawaii to play two games in the Bank of Hawaii Classic on Nov. 16 and 18. While in Oahu, Arizona will face Seattle on the 16th and Portland on the 18th.
After returning home from the islands, the Wildcats will play two home games on Nov. 23 and Nov. 27 against South Carolina State and Incarnate Word, respectively. The Cats will then hit the road to San Diego for a one-game road trip to face San Diego State on Dec. 2.
School day will return to McKale Center this season on Dec. 5 against Montana and then Arizona is back on the road for one game against Long Beach State on Dec. 9. The non-conference slate wraps up with a pair of home games against UTEP on Dec. 17 and Northern Arizona on Dec. 21 before beginning conference play.
