Tucson, Ariz. āĀ The University of Arizona Cross Country team will travel to Chicago, Ill. to compete in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational. Competition is set to begin on Saturday, September 29th with the ladies 5K beginning at 9:15 a.m. MST and the men's 8K will follow at 10 a.m. MST.

"This is going to be our first big meet," said head cross country coach
James Li. "This is going to be a big meet with over 30 teams. It is a perfect meet for us. We are going to be pretty competitive and we should be able to compete in the front. For a young team, I think this is going to be great. Both the men and women's teams learned from earlier races this year and are going to go out and compete. I think we are ready, I am looking forward to the race."

Carlos Villarreal are set to compete.

Last time out, the Cats swept the Dave Murray Invitational in Tucson, Ariz.. Zerrenner claimed her second consecutive individual title in the event and Villarreal earned his first cross country win of his career.
