FULLERTON, Calif. – The Arizona Women's Tennis team competed in the Cal State Fullerton Invitational Friday afternoon. They took part in both Singles and Doubles matches.

They took two singles matches against Santa Clara University and one doubles against Fresno State University. Sophia Thomas, Gitte Heynemans, and the pairing of Thomas/Furak all walked away with a win in those matches. 

Singles

Thomas (UA) def. Tobachnik (SCU) 7-5, 6-2

Heynemans (UA) def. Gevargiz (SCU) 6-2, 6-1

Schrow (SCU) def. Tamblyn (UA) 6-2, 6-1

Pothoff (SCU) def. Furak (UA) 6-4, 6-2

Doubles 

Thomas/Furak (UA) def. Timotin/Lawson (FSU) 7-6 (4) 

Marcinkevica/Husrefovic (FSU) def. Heynemans/Tamblyn (UA) 6-3
