STANFORD, Calif. --Â The Arizona women's golf team finished the Stanford Intercollegiate in a tie for third on Sunday after leading at various points of the final round. Arizona ended the week at 4-under after shooting 2-under for the final round.

Freshman
Vivian Hou shot an even-par 71 to cap off another great week and take solo second place, her second runner-up finish of the season. She led the field with 16 total birdies on the week. Junior
Yu-Sang Hou birdied four holes in a row to close out her front nine, and ended up shooting a 4-under 67. After finishing day one in 45th place, Yu-Sang climbed all the way back into a tie for fifth at 3-under.

Sophomore
Ya Chun Chang posted a final-round 72 (+1), and just missed out on another top-20 finish, ending the week in a tie for 21st. Freshman
Gile Bite Starkute made a triple-bogey on the 18th hole, but still posted a solid round of 72 and tied for 40th. Junior
Hollie Muse rounded on the squad with a 77 on Sunday, dropping her into a tie for 58th on the week.

The Wildcats were a combined 22-under-par on par-5s this week, and also led the field in birdies with 56.

"I'm proud of the ladies fight and energy this week," said head coach
Laura Ianello. "We look forward to returning here in April for the conference championship."

The Wildcats will be back in action on October 28th when they compete at the prestigious East Lake Cup in Atlanta, Ga.
