El Paso, TX-- Junior Wildcat Trevor Werbylo has completed competition in the Sun Bowl Marathon All-America Golf Classic. He finished tied for 12th place. 

Werbylo finished the tournament at 4-under, with a final score of 209 over the course of three rounds of play. He also sunk 13 birdies during the tournament. Werbylo shot 71-66 on the opening day, before responding with a 72 on Tuesday. Werbylo earned an invitation to the tournament by being named an honorable mention All-American last year. The field included 34 of the top collegiate and amateur players.

"It was an awesome week," said Werbylo, "One of the best run tournaments I have ever been to. It was a lot of fun getting to hang out with all the players."

After a double bogey on No. 3, Werbylo bounced back with a solid round, shooting one-under the rest of the way. 

Next up for Werbylo and the rest of the Wildcats is the Arizona Intercollegiate, taking place in Tucson on the 27th and 28th of January.
