TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona Track and Field program is set to host the annual Winter All-Comers Meet on Saturday, Dec. 14th at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. 

Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. MST starting with the hammer throw and pole vault. Running events will follow at 12:00 p.m. MST beginning with the 4x100 meter relay. Arizona heats will compete first followed by open heats.

"The thing I'm most excited for is seeing how competitive the athletes become as a team against one another," said head track and field coach Fred Harvey. "They're really fired up and I'm seeing this competitive spirit in them so early going into indoor season. It's a fun meet where we get to see what we've accomplished throughout the fall. The biggest thing is getting them in a competitive situation and having fun with it."

The Arizona athletes are divided into three teams: Red, White and Blue. Each newcomer was drafted to a team at the Red, White and Blue Draft on Dec. 4th.

At last year's Winter All-Comers Meet, the red team claimed first place with a team score of 158 followed by the white team in second with 121 points and the blue team with 113.
