Talley and Aguilera Receive All-Pacific Recognition

Tucson, Ariz -Two Arizona Wildcats received United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's All-Pacific Region honors on Monday. Forward Jada Talley was named Second-Team All-Pacific and Forward forward Jill Aguilera was named Third Team All-Pacific. Both Juniors juniors ended their seasons at the top of the Wildcat leader board, with Talley in first and Aguilera coming in right behind her. The two together contributed to almost 50% of Arizona's goals this season, 40% of their assists, and 33% of the team's shots

This is Talley's second honor of the year, being named First Team All-Pac-12 a few weeks prior. She had an absolute record outstanding year, starting in all 20 matches of the 2019 season and racking up 1,353 minutes. She scored a program record of 10 goals and eight assists, the first Wildcat to do so, and took taking 46 shots with half of them being on goal. Talley ended the season having the 10th-most goals in the Pac-12 and has the seventh-most assists. Talley The junior earned three braces on the season (UCLA, Oregon, and Oregon State), tying with Aguilera for the most of any Wildcat in the 2019 season and had four game-winning goals.

Aguilera receives received her first All-Pacific Honor, making Third Team. She also had a record year, surpassing everything she set in her two previous seasons at Arizona. She ended the season with nine goals, two assists and 56 shots, the most of any Wildcats Wildcat this season. She earned scored the 11th-most goals in the Pac-12 being only one behind Talley. Her biggest feat, however, was scoring two goals against No. 2 Stanford in November where she single-handedly ended Stanford's eight game shutout streak. Aguilera scored a pair vs. No. 2 Stanford after the Cardinal had not surrendered a goal in the previous eight matches. She has earned three braces on the season (TCU, Oregon, and Stanford) and had two game-winning goals.

Both Talley and Aguilera will return to the Arizona Wildcats next year to complete their fourth and final season with the Cats.
