Game 1: South Florida 4, #9 Arizona 1

Taylor McQuillin became the third pitcher in the NCAA to strike out 16 batters this season, one off her career high, and did not surrender an earned run, but the Wildcats fell, 4-1 to USF in their first ever game in the renovated Hillenbrand Stadium.

USF scored four unearned runs, helped out by two Wildcat errors, in the top of the sixth inning.
