SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Arizona Women's Tennis team dropped their first dual match of the season against the University of San Diego, 4-2. 

The Toreros proved victorious in the doubles matches clinching that point through the first two matches with the pairings of Torres/Colling and Morales/Tyrina.

Colling, Kakuras, and Garcia each won their singles matches for USD while Talya Zandberg and Camila Wesbrooks won their matches for the Cats. Wesbrooks, the senior from McKinney Texas continues her hot streak and has now won each of her four singles matches this year.

Zandberg (UA) def. Torres (USD) 6-3, 6-2. 

Colling (USD) def. Wilson (UA) 6-3, 6-2. 

Kukaras (USD) def. Van Aelst (UA) 6-1,7-5. 

Garcia (USD) def. Furak (UA) 6-3, 5-7, 7-5. 

Tyrina (USD) vs. Heynemans (UA) 6-7 (12), 6-3, 4-3. (Incomplete) 

Doubles
Torres/Colling (USD) def. Wilson/Heynemans (UA) 6-3. 

Morales/Tyrina (USD) def. Zandberg/Wesbrooks (UA) 7-5. 

Kukaras/Garcia (USD) vs. Thomas/Furak (UA) 6-5. (Incomplete) 

The Cats will be back in action next Saturday in Denton, Texas to take on the University of North Texas.
