QUINNSTANT IMPACT: Freshman right-hander Quinn Flanagan has been a big boost to the Wildcats pitching staff this season...In four games (three starts), Flanagan has posted a team-best 1.80 ERA (3ERx15.0IP) while registering a 2-0 record...Flanagan's March 9 start against College of Charleston was particularly strong, and resulted in his first collegiate quality start (6.0+ IP, three or fewer earned runs allowed) - in that outing he worked 6.0 innings, allowed just three runs (one earned) on five hits, and struck out four batters...Flanagan has limited opponents to one or fewer earned runs in each of his four appearances this year...Opposing batters have combined to hit just .232 off Flanagan in 15.0 innings this season...Flanagan missed both his junior and senior seasons of high school ball with an arm injury, and sat out his first year at Arizona under a redshirt...His start against Feb. 17 against UMass Lowell (4.0, 4, 2, 1, 0, 4, W) was his first game action in nearly three years.

STREAKONOMICS: Outfielder Matt Fraizer currently leads the team with an active 10-game hitting streak, the longest posted by a Wildcats player this year...During his streak, dating back to Feb. 23 at Houston, Fraizer has hit .435 (20x46) with 11 runs scored, three doubles, one triple, one home run, 12 RBI, and one walk...He leads the Wildcats in hits, RBI, and total bases over that stretch while tying for second on the club in runs scored (also: Donta Williams)...Just behind Fraizer are infielder Cameron Cannon and catcher/first baseman Austin Wells, who both sport seven-game hit streaks...Cannon has hit .467 (14x30) with seven runs scored, four doubles, one home run, five RBI, and three walks during his streak...Wells has logged a .458 (11x24) batting average with six runs scored, six RBI, and five walks over the course of his hitting streak.

DYER ON FIRE: Catcher/utility Matthew Dyer has proved to be a huge addition to the Wildcats after transferring into the program from the University of Oregon...Through his first 15 games in a Wildcat uniform, Dyer has excelled at the plate and provided crucial flexibility on defense...He has logged a batting average of .365 (19x52) - the fourth-best mark on the team - while also collecting 15 runs scored, 13 RBI, one double, one triple, one home run, and 11 walks...Dyer has reached base safely in 12-of-15 games, and tallied seven multi-hit performances already this year...On defense, he has seen time behind the plate at catcher, at first base, and in left and right field, committed just one error while bouncing between four positions...Dyer has always excelled while playing at Hi Corbett Field; while playing for Oregon in 2017, Dyer hit .462 (6x13) with three runs scored and a triple in a three-game series at Hi Corbett, and this season has posted a .410 (16x39) batting average in 11 home contests.

FLAVA FRAZ: Something has clicked for junior outfielder Matt Fraizer, who through 16 games is off to the hottest start to a season of his career...Fraizer has logged at least one hit in 15-of-16 games this year and is currently tied with Cameron Cannon for the team lead in multi-hit games (9)...The left-handed hitting center fielder has posted five two-hit games, three three-hit outings, and one four-hit performance...With 22 RBI already on the year, Fraizer is already nearly 80% of the way to his 2018 total of 28 RBI...His six-RBI outburst on February 17 against UMass Lowell was the best single-game RBI total of his career, tied for the Wildcats third-best best single-game individual mark during the StatCrew era (since 1998), and the best single-game mark by an Arizona player since JJ Matijevic drove in seven RBI against Arizona State on April 28, 2015...Fraizer is tied for the team and conference lead with teammate Cameron Cannon at 29 hits; their 29 base knocks are tied for third most in the country through games played March 10.

ONE-TWO PUNCH: Infielder Cameron Cannon and outfield Matt Fraizer, who have occupied the first two spots in the Wildcats lineup the majority of the season, have provided prodigious offense up top in the lineup this year...The duo up top in the order have combined to hit .417 (58x139) with 42 runs scored, 16 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 37 RBI, 87 total bases, 14 walks, and a .481 on-base percentage...Fraizer and Cannon have combined to reached base 17 times in 39 chances as the leadoff hitter in an inning, setting up the Wildcats with a leadoff runner on base 43.5% of the times they've had the chance...But it's not just setting up the scoring that they've excelled at; Cannon (.522) and Fraizer (.438) have both posted batting averages north of .400 with runners in scoring position, collecting 26 RISP hits between the two of them...When it's all said and done, Fraizer and Cannon have accounted for over 26% of the Wildcats runs and over 25% of their RBI this season.

MR. 200: The Wildcats victory over Milwaukee on March 1 gave head coach Jay Johnson his 200th career win as an NCAA Division I head coach...Across time with Nevada (2014-15) and Arizona (2016-current) he has amassed a record of 201-114 (.638)...Johnson is the second-fastest coach to tally 200 career Division I wins among the current Pac-12 head coaches (first: George Horton, 287 games) after achieving the feat in just 312 games...During his first three seasons leading the Wildcats, Johnson averaged 40 wins per year...In addition to his 201 Division I wins, Johnson racked up a record of 37-16 in his one season as the head coach at Point Loma Nazarene in 2005.
