CHULA VISTA, Calif.- The Cats are in the top ten teams in the field at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic after scoring a team total of 586 (+10). The second round of the tournament is incomplete as it was suspended due to darkness and a couple individuals had not finished the course, but Arizona will enter the second and final day of competition in 7^th. Sophomore Trevor Werbylo and junior Brad Reeves both finished the first day in a tie for 18^th (+2).
 
The Cats had five total round at one-over par and one even-par round in the two rounds. Arizona performed well on par five holes, shooting 12-under in total on those holes. The team also tabbed 27 birdies through two rounds, as well as making par 108 times.
 
Werbylo and Reeves had two rounds of 73 (+1) each, putting them two-under entering the final round. Werbylo had eight birdies through two rounds and made par 24 times to keep him within the top-20. Reeves ranked in the top five in par 3 scoring and made five birdies.
 
Junior Briggs Duce had the only round at even par for the Cats, aided by two eagles, currently the most in the competition. He and junior David Laskin head into the final round tied in 34^th with a score of 148 (+4).
 
Senior Ethan Marcus tabbed a 150 (+6) to put him in a tie for 46^th.
 
Individual competitor Santeri Lehesmaa completed the second day in a tie for 34^th with a score of 148 (+4).
