PALO ALTO, Calif.- The Arizona men's golf team concluded play at the Stanford hosted, The Goodwin in 16
th place (+34). The Cats had two individuals finish in the top 20, with junior
Brad Reeves finishing tied for ninth and sophomore Trevor Webylo finished tied for 19
th.

"It was very good to see the team improve each round and having Brad and Trevor in the Top 20 was outstanding in this field and on this course," commented head coach
Jim Anderson. "We needed to keep our high scores more manageable this week and I know our group will benefit from the experience this week. Next week, we will focus on eliminating distractions and keeping our focus in the areas we control better."

Reeves rose 26 places in the third round to put him in the top 10, after shooting a 67 on the final day of the tournament. This was the Northern California native's highest finish of his junior season, and his second lowest 18-hole score and tournament score of the year. Reeves tallied 14 birides throughout the three days, the second most in the tournament.

Werbylo was a steady presence for the Cats throughout the competition, earning him his 8
th top 20 finish of the season. The Tucson local tabbed 9 birdies through three days. Werbylo ranked in the top five in par five scoring, averaging 4.56.

Other scores for the Cats included a 227 (+17) for
Ethan Marcus, a 230 (+20) from
David Laskin, and a 232 (+22) from
Drake Mendenhall.
