TUCSON, Ariz. - No. 50 Arizona proved victorious over Oregon on senior day, by a score of 5-2. 

This is the Cats second conference win of the season, beating Utah and now Oregon. The girls finish the season at home with a 3-match winning streak and a 11-3 overall record, the best home record for Arizona since the 2013-2014 season when they went 14-1. In two of the final three home matches, Arizona took down top ranked teams in Denver and Utah. 

The Wildcats got off to a strong start in Doubles, winning the first match on court two 6-2, and then clinched the Doubles point on court three with a 6-4 win.  

Once again, Arizona jumped out to an early lead in Singles, with statement wins from Sophia Thomas and Gitte Heynemans on courts five and six, along with a win on court three from Talya Zandberg in the full three sets. Marie Van Aelst clinched the match on court four winning 7-5, 6-4. Oregon managed to grab two wins on courts one and two. 

Arizona will close out the regular season next Saturday in Tempe, where they will square off against Arizona State at 12:00 p.m. MST.
