TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona Women's Tennis team fell to No. 39 Arizona State Saturday afternoon with a final score of 4-0. 

The Sun Devils got out to an early lead in doubles as their pairings on courts one and two, ranked No. 2 and No. 67, ended up winning both of their matches to clinch and take the early 1-0 lead headed into singles. 

Arizona State would go on to win on courts one, four, and five to take the match over the Cats. Sophia Thomas was one point away from earning a win but the match was clinched before she could do so. 

Arizona finishes the regular season with a .500 record at 11-11 overall, including an 11-3 record at home. 

The Cats will begin Pac-12 tournament play next week in Ojai, Calif.
