Cameron Cannon has smacked 25 doubles through 48 games this season...As of games played May 12, Cannon's 25 two-baggers are tied for the most among all NCAA Division I baseball players (also: Troy Johnston, Gonzaga)...He is one of just 12 players nationally with over 20 doubles this season...Cannon alone has accounted for nearly 1/5th of the Wildcats 128 doubles, which ranks second in the nation — without his contribution, Arizona would rank tied for 29th...Cannon has registered multiple doubles in a game five times this year, and has swatted at least one double in 18-of-48 games...He has surpassed his output in doubles from last year, as Cannon smacked a team-best 21 doubles in 56 games in 2018...The Arizona single-season record for doubles is 30, set by Dave Stegman in 1976 and tied by
JJ Matijevic in 2017...Cannon is currently on pace for 29 doubles through the remainder of the regular season...He is three doubles shy of breaking into the Top 10 of Arizona's career doubles leaderboard.
