TUCSON, Ariz. – Cody Dalton,
Gustavs Kehris and
Tatum Waggoner, all 4.0 students, were each named First Team Google Cloud Academic All-Americans on Thursday, as chosen by CoSIDA. Arizona is the only school in the Pac-12 to have three or more student-athletes on the First Team on the men's and women's side combined.

Dalton, a thrower from Alamo, Calif., graduated with a master's degree in Real Estate Development in May of 2019. He competed in six outings during the 2019 outdoor season and finished in the top-10 on six occasions. Highlighting his 2019 campaign was a mark of 58.45m (191-9) to set a PR in the hammer throw at the 2019 Desert Heat Classic.

Kehris, an 800-meter runner from Riga, Latvia who was named to the Second Team last year, graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in Physics. He was named the Arizona Athletics Valedictorian, boasting a perfect GPA during his four years in Tucson. He appeared in six outings during 2019, finishing in the top-10 in four races. Highlighting his final year competing for Arizona was a third-place finish in the 800-meter run at the New Mexico Classic in 1:55.05.

Waggoner, a 400-meter sprinter from Phoenix, Ariz., is in graduate school studying Special Education. She holds the No. 2 400-meter dash mark in the Arizona Record Book with a PR of 51.89 and was the second leg in the women's 4x400-meter relay team that set the school record at the NCAA West Preliminary Round. For the first time in her career, she qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400-meter dash.
