Cats Unveil Fall Baseball Schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats will participate in three highly-competitive fall exhibition contests over the next two months as part of their preparation for the 2020 baseball season.

In addition to their standard two-game fall slate, the Cats will have the unique opportunity to play USA Baseball's Olympic qualifying team as they kick off their road to Tokyo.

Arizona's fall exhibition schedule will be:
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 vs. Team USA  |  6:00 PM MST  |  Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Ariz.
  • Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Cal Poly Pomona  |  11:00 AM MST  |  Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Ariz.
  • Sunday, Nov. 17 vs. San Diego  |  12:00 PM MST  |  American Family Fields in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Oct. 26 game against Team USA will be the first opportunity for fans to get a look at the 2020 Wildcats baseball team, which features an incoming signing class which was recently ranked No. 11 in the nation by Collegiate Baseball. It will also serve as the Arizona debut for associate head coach Nate Yeskie, an NCAA National Champion and three-time national Assistant Coach of the Year.

Team USA's roster will be entirely comprised of professional baseball players, with multiple former Wildcats currently in the mix to make the team. They are managed by four-time World Series Champion Joe Girardi, who looks to steer Team USA to a berth in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The Wildcats complete their fall schedule with a home contest against Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 9 and a neutral-site exhibition against San Diego at American Family Fields — the Spring Training home of the Milwaukee Brewers — on Nov. 17 in Phoenix.

Tickets for both fall home games against Team USA and Cal Poly Pomona are available now and can be purchased HERE. 2019 Arizona baseball season ticket holders will receive complimentary tickets to both games, which were distributed via email on Oct. 14.
