Arizona Looks For Road Win at Oregon State on Sunday

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The 24th ranked Arizona Wildcats will look to earn a split of the two games in Oregon this week with a win on Sunday at Oregon State. Arizona has won 14 of the last 15 meetings between the two teams, including each of the last six games.

The game is scheduled to being at 8:00 p.m. (MST) on FS1 with Aaron Goldsmith and Steve Lavin on the call.

Arizona has won the last seven meetings against Oregon State, including three in a row in Corvallis. After OSU beat the Wildcats in the first three meetings after Sean Miller took over at UA, the Wildcats have gone 14-1.

Arizona's 48.8 FG% is 9th-best in the country while holding opponents to just 37.2 percent this season, the 15th-best in the country. Arizona is the only team in the country to rank in the top 15 in FG% and FG% defense.

UA is scoring 82.4 points per game this season, the 10th-most in the country this season. The Wildcats are also outscoring teams by an average of 17.7 points per game, the 6th-best margin in the country.

The Wildcats average 16.7 assists per game rank 18th nationally and the 1.40-to-1 assist/turnover ratio is 12th in the country.

According to the NCAA's NET tool, Arizona's strength of schedule is 16th and non-conference SOS is 28th.

A two-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, Zeke Nnaji is shooting 67.2 percent from the floor this year (6th nationally). He enters tonight's game having posted a double-double in each of the last four games and he has six double-doubles on the year (T2nd in Pac-12). In the last four games, he is averaging 17.0 points, 13.3 rebounds (4 off. reb/gm) and 1.5 blocks while shooting 59.0 percent from the floor.

Freshman Nico Mannion is second in the Pac-12 and 22nd nationally with 91 assists this season. His 6.1 assists per game average ranks 21st in the country and he is the only freshman in the country with three games of 10+ assists this season. He registered his fourth 20-point game of the season when he dropped 20 points at Oregon on Thursday. His nine made field goals against the Ducks are the second-most for him this season.

Freshman Josh Green is averaging 14.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists and shooting 48.1 percent from the floor over the last four games. He leads the team with 25 steals and has eight games with 2+ steals this season. He ranks 10th in the Pac-12 in steals/game (1.7). Against Oregon, he scored 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and grabbed five rebounds.

Senior Dylan Smith has averaged 9.0 points and 2.6 rebounds over the last five games while connecting at a 47.8 percent clip from long distance in that span. Against Oregon, he finished with 11 points thanks to a 3-of-4 effort from behind the 3-point line. In two Pac-12 games, Smith is averaging 10.5 points and shooting 53.3 percent overall.
