Wildcats Face Minnesota in Tempe on Monday Morning

TEMPE, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (3-0) bring their 13-game win streak on the road for a neutral site contest against the Minnesota Golden Gophers (1-2) on Monday morning at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Arizona enters the game fresh off a season-opening series sweep of Albany, in which the Wildcats out-scored the Great Danes 38-10. The series was highlighted by a 15-0 shutout victory on Saturday night that was punctuated by starting pitcher Quinn Flanagan and freshman reliever Wesley Scott combining to strike out 13 batters.
The Wildcats offense picked up right where they left off in 2020, scoring double-digit runs in all three games last weekend. The Cats have now scored 10+ runs in 11 of their last 13 games dating back to last year.

- The Wildcats take their first road trip of the season to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a neautral site game at Tempe Diablo Stadium. This is the first meeting between the two teams since March 2, 2018, when Minnesota beat Arizona, 3-2, at the Pac-12/Big 10 Challenge.
