FORT WORTH, Texas -- No. 17 Arizona went 1-2 at the TCU Fight in the Fort this weekend making their overall record 8-2 on the season. No.1 LSU snapped Arizona's winning streak early in the weekend but Arizona bounced back quick, sweeping the Missouri State Bears. The Cats went on to fall to No. 16 TCU 4-1 in the second day of game play with
Alex Parkhurst and
Sarah Blacker being the only victorious pair of the match. Next up, Arizona will head to Davis, Calif. to participate in the UC Davis Tri-Match Tournament on March 11th. Arizona will be back at Bear Down Beach the following weekend for the Wildcat Spring Challenge on March 20th and 21st.

"I thought we competed really well on first day of this event, especially given the fact we were competing against high level and familiar competition.
Our turn around on day #2 isn't indicative of the kind of team we are. We didn't coach and/or manage our game, or emotions very well vs the host team-who came out and played very confidently.
We played 3 terrific programs and we will learn from this experience and preform much better the next time we are in this situation."
