TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (10-5) make the short jaunt north to face the Arizona State Sun Devils (13-4) in a midweek non-conference contest on Tuesday, March 10 at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. MST on the Pac-12 Networks.
The Wildcats recently beat the Houston Cougars two games to one in a three-game weekend series. The Wildcats have now won nine consecutive series dating back to the 2019 season.
Arizona sophomore catcher
Austin Wells, one of the key bats in the Cats lineup, was recently named to the 2020 Buster Posey Award watch list ahead of the team's midweek test in Phoenix.
This will be the 476th all-time meeting between the Wildcats and Sun Devils.
