Green Declares for the NBA Draft

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona freshman wing Josh Green announced on Friday that he has entered his name for the 2020 NBA Draft after one season with the Wildcats. The native of Sydney, Australia stuffed the stat sheet on both ends of the court during the 2019-20 season.

Green was in the starting lineup for all 30 games that he appeared in during the 2019-20 season and his 46 steals led the team and were the most by an Arizona freshman since Stanley Johnson had 57 in 2015. The total also ranked sixth all-time among UA freshmen. Green also finished third on the team in scoring (12.0) and second in rebounding (4.6). He finished the season connecting on 10-of-15 from the 3-point line over his last six games, including a 3-of-4 effort in the win over Washington in the Pac-12 Tournament.

When adding Green's scoring with classmates Nico Mannion and Zeke Nnaji, their point total of 1,321 led all freshmen trio's in the country and were the most by a Pac-12 freshmen trio since 2012-13.
