Kayla Wilkins will get her first action of the fall along with newcomers
Midori Castillo-Meza and
Lexi Ryngler. They will be joined by freshman
Belen Nevenhoven, who competed in the HEB Invitational last weekend.
Wilkins starts the fall after a successful summer on the ITA Summer Circuit, where she finished second in the points race with 925 points in only three tournaments. During her last fall season, Wilkins was able to pick up six wins in both singles and doubles. Joining her will be
Belen Nevenhoven, who finished her first fall tournament with a 2-1 record in singles.
Junior
Lexi Ryngler will be participating in her first fall tournament as a Wildcat after transferring from the University of Texas, where she finished her last fall season ranked No. 43 in the ITA singles ranking while winning the Texas Regional Championships. Freshman Midori Castill-Meza, who entered this year as the highest ranked recruit in Head Coach
Ryan Stotland's tenure, will also be competing in her first fall tournament as a Wildcat.
The Wildcats will start their action at Friday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. MST against players from UCLA.
