LUBBOCK, Texas – Arizona Track and Field sent four sprinters from the men's side to Lubbock, Texas for the Matador Qualifier on Friday. Johnnie Blockburger, Logan Hasher, Trevor Volpe and Umajesty Williams made the trip for the Wildcats, competing in a total of three events.

Blockburger and Williams kicked things off for the Cats in the 400m with Williams placing second overall with a time of 46.96. Blockburger followed in fourth with a time of 47.25.

For the second consecutive week, Volpe ran an indoor PR in the 200m, clocking 21.65 to finish sixth.

The group also competed as a 4x400m relay squad, clocking a time of 3:11.30.
