LAWRENCE, Kan. - Arizona fell on the road to the Jayhawks with a 6-1 loss on Friday. They play next on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. MST against Kansas State.
The Wildcats battled it out in the doubles point with
Talya Zandberg and
Abby Amos taking a lead before Kansas closed it out. Arizona stumbled in the first sets, but picked up the energy in the back half. The late momentum surge was not enough to top the Jayhawks as they closed out the match.
Khim Iglupas struck back by winning the second set and her match on court 6.
