COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Arizona Track and Field sent two athletes to Colorado Springs to compete in the combined events at the Championships at the Peak meet on Thursday. Skylar Sieben represented Arizona in the women's pentathlon while Dominic Gehr competed in the men's heptathlon.

Sieben placed fourth overall in the pentathlon with a season best score of 3,914, tallying two PRs and one event win. She won the long jump contest with a PR mark of 5.83m (19-1.5) and clocked another personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.65. She also placed third in the shot put as well as the 800m race.

Dominic Gehr completed four of the seven events in the men's heptathlon on Thursday, ending the day with a score of 2,808. He placed third in the high jump to score 749 points and finished fifth in the shot put to add another 629. He currently sits in eighth overall and will compete in the 60m hurdles, pole vault and 1000m race on Friday beginning at 9 a.m. MST.

Also competing on Friday will be Johnnie Blockburger, Tayvian Cunningham, Logan Hasher, Israel Oloyede, Trent Stimac, Trevor Volpe and Umajesty Williams for the men and Athena Montgomery and Gracie Reinholz for the women.
