Aari McDonald Named to Naismith Midseason Watch List

TUCSON, Ariz. – All-American point guard Aari McDonald was named to the Naismith Midseason Watch List on Tuesday morning. McDonald has also been named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Top 10, the Wooden Award Top 20 and the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watch List.
The Fresno, Calif. Native has scored in double-figures in 80-straight games, the longest active streak in the nation and the longest streak in Arizona history. Additionally, she is the NCAA's career scoring leader among active players and is fourth all-time in Arizona history.
On the season, McDonald averages 18.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
McDonald and the Wildcats are coming off a dominating win over No. 11 Oregon on Monday and have revenge on their minds as they are set to face Washington State on Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. MST in McKale Center.
