The Wildcats took their first lead of the day with a three-run fourth, tacked on three more in the sixth, and broke the game open on a five-run top of the ninth.

Starting pitcher Garrett Irvin (3-1) earned his third win of the year after working 6.0 innings and allowing five runs on six hits. He struck out four and issued two walks on a season-high 114 pitches.
