TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field is set to host the annual Desert Heat Classic on Saturday, May 1 at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. Arizona will host a limited number of family members of both Arizona student-athletes as well as visiting teams. However, the meet will not be open to the general public.

Competition will kick off at 12:00 p.m. MST beginning with the men's hammer throw and women's discus. Running events will get going at 5:40 p.m. following the senior awards ceremony at 5:20 p.m. You can follow along with live results at finishedresults.com or watch our live stream here.

The 11 seniors that will be honored on Saturday are Keelah Barger, Megan Bounds, Megan Dulaney, Bailey Johnson, Jordan Spradlin, April Sutton, Karla Teran, Mo Almarhoun, Isaac Desjarlais, Justin Lewis and Justice Summerset.

Other schools competing in the meet will be ASU, GCU, New Mexico State, NAU, Oklahoma, Oregon, UNLV, Utah Valley and UTEP.

The Wildcats currently hold 10 NCAA top 20 marks and times, including eight in the top 10:

8. Jordan Geist, shot put: 19.83m (65-0.75)
9. Justice Summerset, high jump: 2.21m (7-3)
20. Skylar Sieben, heptathlon: 5,386
20. Men's 4x400 relay: 3:05.86
