LEXINGTON, Ky. - For the first time in program history, Arizona is headed to the third round of the NCAA Tournament following a thrilling win over the No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats with a 4-2 score.

Carlos Hassey and Alejandro Reguant started the day with an upset of the No. 6 doubles pair in the country to clinch the doubles point. That momentum rolled into singles for Hassey as he delivered in straight sets to add a second point for the Wildcats.

Herman Hoeyeraal pulled off a gritty three-set win, 7-5, 1-6, 6-3, to set up No. 90 Jonas Ziverts to clinch the match against the No. 14 singles player in the country, 6-7, 6-1, 6-4. Arizona earned two ranked singles wins and one ranked doubles win on the day.

Record Watch
Alejandro Reguant broke the overall wins record previously held by Roger Matalonga with his doubles win today. The team also advanced past the second round for the first time in school history.

Arizona will play the winner of Tennessee and Memphis on Monday, May 17 at 7 a.m. MST.
