TUCSON, Ariz. – After the conclusion of the NCAA Championships on Saturday, seven Wildcats will make the trip back to Eugene, Ore. to compete in the U.S Olympic Trials.

Competition will kick off on Friday at noon beginning with the qualifying round of the men's shot put where Jordan Geist will throw. Geist enters the meet with a season-best mark of 20.40m (66-11.25) and a PR of 21.59m (70-10). Also competing on Friday will be Israel Oloyede in the hammer throw, Lillian Lowe in the high jump and Johnnie Blockburger in the 400m.

Coverage of the meet will begin on Friday at 4:00 p.m. on NBCSN. NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will also provide streaming coverage of select field events.

3:35 - Women's 400m Hurdles, First Round, Shannon Meisberger


Also competing at the trials is Arizona track and field alum Nnenya Hailey who will face off against Meisberger in the 400m hurdles.
