TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track & Field is set to host the Desert Heat Classic on Saturday at Drachman Stadium. The competition will feature a senior ceremony for the 18 graduating Wildcats.

The competition will feature some of the top teams in the nation, such as Oregon, Nebraska, Washington, Utah, Iowa, Boise State, New Mexico, and Northern Arizona, among others. On Saturday, field events begin at 11:00 a.m. MST and running events start at 3:00 p.m. MST. The senior awards presentation will be held at 6:00 p.m. MST. Live results for the full day of events can be found here.

The Wildcats were last in action for a pair of California meets: the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational. At both meets, the Wildcats broke numerous personal and season bests. At Mt. SAC specifically, the team saw multiple top-three finishes, including four individual event wins: Emily Psarras in the women's javelin (45.28m), Jett Kinder in the men's javelin (64.77m), Moses Hala'Ufia in the men's discus (53.82m), and Sam Hala'Ufia in the men's shot put (18.71m).
