Starting pitcher TJ Nichols went 5.1 innings for the Wildcats and did not allow an earned run. The right-hander surrendered five hits and struck out six while being tagged with the loss to move to 3-1 on the year.
Catcher Daniel Susac narrowly missed Arizona's first five-hit performance since 2018, picking up four at-bats in his first four turns at the plate before lining out to right on hard contact late in the game.
