TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 14 Wildcats lost the series finale to No. 20 Arizona State, 8-0 in five innings.
Arizona State held the Cats scoreless, and
Marissa Schuld didn't allow any hits.
ASU had four home runs and took an early 2-0 lead that Arizona couldn't fight back from. The Sun Devils scored two runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings to go up 8-0.
Hanah Bowen (6-7) was the losing pitcher, striking out two batters and allowing five runs before
Devyn Netz relieved her in the third inning. Netz threw the final two innings of the game and allowed three runs.
