Two weeks ago, the Cats competed in Tempe for the ASU Invitational where several athletes came away with solid marks. Talie Bonds started the Wildcats off well with a win in both of her events. In the high jump, Bonds cleared an outdoor season-best of 1.79m before taking to the track and then finishing first in the qualifiers for the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.31.

Trayvion White-Austin would earn another podium placement on his own in the 100m dash, running a 10.39 and placing second. Reinaldo Rodrigues launched into second in the men's long jump with a jump of 7.19m (23'-7.25").

In the field events, Mackenna Orie put up an impressive PR in the women's shot put to grab first place with a throw of 16.20m (53'-6.25"). That mark is good for the eighth farthest throw in outdoor program history.

Grace Driskill ended the meet by obtaining a spot on the podium after running a 10:28.52 in the 3000m steeplechase for her second top-three finish of the outdoor season.
