TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field returns from the Pac-12s in Eugene to host the Tucson Elite competition at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. The Wildcats will host some of the world's top throwers as they prepare to compete in the Old Pueblo in preparation for the 2022 USATF and World Championships in Eugene, OR.
The first event will start on Thursday with the hammer throw at 3 p.m. MST. The second day of competition will be Saturday and will start at shot put at 10 a.m. MST. Come out and watch some top level track and field at Drachman Stadium!

Last weekend at the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships,
Talie Bonds started her very successful day in the 100m hurdles, where she got her first podium placement with a third-place finish after running a 13.17 in the finals. Shortly after her run, she won the high jump competition with a jump of 1.76m (5'-9.25").
Shannon Meisberger was the second Pac-12 Champion of the weekend in the 400m hurdles, where she finished with a time of 56.43, which was a season-best run for the senior.
Grace Driskill added her own stellar performance by breaking the school record in the 3000m Steeplechase on the second day of competition.
