Allie Skaggs have picked up Pac-12 Softball weekly honors after leading Arizona to sweeps over New Mexico State and Fresno State, the conference announced on Monday.
Dimler was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week and Skaggs earned her second-straight Pac-12 Player of the Week honor.
Dimler had an impressive performance at the plate, leading the team with four home runs – one in each of Arizona's games – driving in eight RBI, and a 1.313 slugging percentage. She had a career best three hits with four RBI in Arizona's run-rule victory over NMSU and tied her career high of three hits in Arizona's second win over Fresno State. Dimler is currently second among Pac-12 freshman in home runs with 10 this season.
Skaggs earned her second-straight Pac-12 Player of the Week honor after hitting three home runs with nine RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage. Skaggs hit a solo home run and her second grand slam of the season – and second in three games – against NMSU to drive in career-high-tying five runs. She leads Arizona with 19 home runs and ranks second in the Pac-12. Skaggs is tied for 27th in Arizona history for home runs in a single season.
This is Dimler's first career weekly Pac-12 honor and Skaggs' second career weekly Pac-12 honor.
