TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona Football quarterback Noah Fifita has been named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the fourth time following his 300-yard, three passing-touchdown performance against No. 19 UCLA during Week 10. 

Fifita has earned this honor in four consecutive weeks, tying the conference record four times in one season since the creation of the honor in 2019. The only time Fifita did not take home the Freshman of the Week Honor over the last five weeks was following the BYE week for the Wildcats on Oct. 21. He completed 25-of-32 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns against one of the nation's best defenses in a Week 10 victory.

His 300 passing yards were the most allowed by UCLA's defense this season. Also, the three touchdown passes tied for the most allowed by the Bruins this season. The 429 yards by the Wildcats were the most allowed by UCLA this season.

Fifita completed over 78 percent of his passes for the third consecutive game, with a high-water mark of 79.1 percent against Washington State on Oct. 14.

The redshirt freshman from Huntington Beach earned his fifth consecutive start against a ranked opponent and has posted a 3-2 record. His performance helped the Wildcats clinch bowl eligibility for the first time since 2017, after earning their sixth win of the season.

Arizona has won three straight games for the first time since 2019 and boasts three wins against AP Top 25 teams in consecutive games, the first time the feat has been accomplished in program history. The Wildcats defeated No. 19 Washington State, 44-6, and took down No. 11 Oregon State, 27-24, and sank the No. 19 UCLA Bruins 27-10.

Arizona is back in action at Colorado with a 12 p.m. MST kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 11. The game will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks.
