LAS VEGAS - Arizona Men's and Women's Swimming closed out the UNLV Invitational this evening at Jim Reitz Pool after three days of racing.
The Cats sent a team of six women and five men swimmers to represent Arizona and compete against hosts UNLV, Colorado Mesa, Pacific, Seattle, California Baptist, LMU, Hawai'i and New Mexico.
On the women's side, junior
Stella Copeland stood out for the Cats in the freestyle events, taking 4th in the 200 and 5th in the 500 free, both events boasting three full heats.
On the men's side, senior
Mason Nyboer brought Arizona a third place finish in the 500 free clocking 4:27.04. Freshman
Sean Christianson showed off his versatility in the butterfly, backstroke and IM events. Christianson finished 6th in the 200 IM (1:50.51), 5th in the 100 Fly (49.01) and 6th in the 100 Back (48.52).
The invitational marks the last set of racing for the Cats until the new year.
