SEATTLE, Wash. – The Wildcats concluded their final regular season indoor meet of the year at the Ken Shannon Invitational on Saturday. This was the last opportunity for competitors to get marks and times in to qualify them for the NCAA Indoor Championships in two weeks. Yesterday,
Katie Daily took advantage of this final chance in the women's pole vault, and today
Kristjan Sigfinnsson did the same in the men's high jump. Sigfinnsson and
Zach Landa (shot put) were the two Wildcats to win an event on the day.
Â
"I'm super proud of everyone," said Head Coach
Fred Harvey. "If we continue to do that, and with the talent we have, we're going to get there. This meet has more of a last chance, championship-type feel, and I thought we were able to do some really great things yesterday and today."
