FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Arizona Men's Swimming is headed to Federal Way, Wash., this week for the second week of Pac-12 Championships. The races will begin Wed. March 1, and run through Sat. March 4 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center. Daily coverage of the events will be carried by the Pac-12 Networks, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.
The Cats are coming off a solid regular season, most recently putting up two NCAA 'B' cut times in their last meet against No. 1 Arizona State: one from freshman Haakon Naughton in the 100 fly and one from Ryan Foote in the 100 breast. Naughton has been leading Arizona in the butterfly events, recording a combined total of seven first place finishes in the 100 and 200.
At last year's championships, Arizona posted 47 individual NCAA B cuts and four A cuts in the 200 medley, 200 free, 400 free and 800 free relays. The Cats wrapped up the meet with a total of 423.5 points.
