Blue Gray Recap - The Wildcats finished fourth at the Blue Gray Classic on Feb. 25. They defeated Furman 4-2 in the initial round then were swept 0-4 in the semifinals by Texas Tech for the second time this season. Arizona fell 3-4 to Illinois in a hard fought battle for third place. They face Illinois again next week. 

ITA Ranks - In a new set of ITA rankings this week, Arizona (prev. #31) grabbed the #43 spot and Oregon (prev. #55) landed itself at #53. Neither team has any individual or doubles rankings. Both teams were defeated by #17 Kansas and the Ducks fell 3-4 to Fresno State while the Wildcats won 4-2 against the Bulldogs. Arizona and Oregon both defeated UCSB. 

Looking Ahead - Women's Tennis is at home for three more matches before heading to Washington to carry on conference play. They host #51 Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 9, #27 Illinois and New Mexico State on March 14.
